Your Beauty Bestie

In Korean, ee-mo (이모) means your maternal aunt — the one who spoils you a little, gives it to you straight, and somehow always looks 25. That's exactly who we want to be for your skin.

We're Jess and Sylvia — two mums who love K-beauty almost as much as we love our babies. We fell for it the way most people do: the endless innovation, the formulas that genuinely do something, and that dewy, out-of-this-world glass-skin look everyone's chasing. What we didn't love was how much time it swallowed. A new hero ingredient every other week, a dozen tabs open at 9pm, and that creeping feeling you're already behind. Sound familiar?

So we built the thing we wished already existed. EE-MO curates 100% genuine K-beauty for you to explore — the exciting new stuff (PDRN, exosomes, spicules and the like) right alongside the nature-derived classics that earned their spot years ago: snail mucin, Centella Asiatica, rice water, green tea, ginseng. All authentic, all in one place, no rabbit holes required.

Here's the part we're proudest of. On every product you'll find our EE-MO Testing Notes — our own honest, hands-on take. We won't tell you whether something "works," because skin is personal and we'd never pretend otherwise. But we'll tell you what the box never does: how it smells, how it feels, and whether we reckon a tired mum will actually love it. We can't promise you your perfect match — but we can absolutely tell you which one prickles, and which one cuddles your face like a fluffy cloud.

We know how much invisible work all of this is, especially when you're the one holding the mental load for your whole crew. Jess and Sylvia have a name for that job: LifeCo, or LC — Life Coordinator. It's officially on our CVs.
